Stanley Manufacturing is going to open a large factory in Acton.  Some people are in favor of this decision, while others oppose changing the circumstances. There are several negative effects about opening a large factory in a small town.  For one thing, the release of gas brings about some environmental pollution, such as air and noise pollution.  Moreover, if the factory releases the waste water into the ocean, it will harm the fish and aquatic plants, even humanity.  Worst of all, the carbon dioxide released from the factory may lead to global warming.  For another thing, the popularity will have a dramatic increase and the problems of overpopulation because of the construction of the factory.  Furthermore, jobs will be fewer and fewer be chosen for employees because people from another place are eager to the jobs in Acton as well so that the unemployment will be increasing.  In order to protect the quiet and peace environment, the local residents should not build a large factory in their affectionate hometown.

After getting out of bed in the early morning, some people drink a cup of coffee before having breakfast.  However, drinking too much coffee containing much caffeine may cause several problems that people usually disregard.  For one thing, people may have a irregular headache, and feel nervous and anxious sometimes, which lead to their suffering from insomnia that makes them sleep uncomfortably.  Moreover, a wave of nausea sweeps over people and caffeine brings about some gastrointestinal problems. Therefore, people having poor digestion can’t drink too much coffee, or they will feel painful.  Last but not the least, caffeine causes even fast or irregular heartbeat and muscle tremors.  In order to keep a powerful body and a healthy spirit, not to absorb too much caffeine is the best way.

Should we use the death penalty as a form of criminal punishment? People in the world have different opinions about it.  It is often argued that the death penalty should be abolished because it loses their Survival Right.  However, in my opinion, I think we should use the death penalty as soon as possible. To the criminals, they don’t deserve the choice because they had hurt others’ spirit and lost their rights.  Some people think that we can give them an opportunity of turning over a new leaf and making up for the mistakes they had made.  Nonetheless, I consider that using the death penalty can control the bad behavior of the public, reduce the crime rate, and identify with the miserable victims. Although many people insist that we often abuse the death penalty and don’t know the standard of the punishment, which may bring about a lot of broken family. Nevertheless, I think that if the convicts can respect precious life and learn the importance of it, they won’t hurt innocent people.  It is for all the above-mentioned reasons that I believe go on using the death penalty is the best punishment for criminals.

Michael Williams, who opened a small music store selling compact discs on September 5, closed his shop on December 19.  What caused the enormous change? One reason was that the location of the music store was too remote to find out. It was on a small side street just outside of town. Moreover, there was a shopping center that had two large music stores appealing to people nearby. Another reason was the cost price.  Michael Williams had spent too much money on the CDs before investigating what the residents liked.  He also paid his employees too much salary that was over budget.  In addition to the cost price, the shop also opened at the time when fewer people walk past the store.  Finally, the CDs didn’t sell well because of the residents of the Fairfax are approximately middle-aged people who maybe weren’t interested in the CDs for hip-hop and rock.  In sum, before running the business, people should think over every situation and do correct alternatives.

While talking about an important decision, I think that getting married is one of the pleasure span of life. One reason is that I desire to dress an elegant wedding dress and be blessed by everyone in a church for my wedding ceremony. Another reason is that I can be with my lovely husband for good and support a wonderful family. Moreover, we can even raise some adorable children, which can be filled with happiness in my life. Finally, I believe that a stable marriage can be a motivation for me to live my life.  For instance, when I feel tired and want to give up working, I will think of my husband and children. Therefore, I can throw away the pain and go on working. In sum, getting married is one of the most important and ideal parts in my life.

However, people have different opinions about that.  It is often argued that it is very dangerous for us to meet people through online dating sites because we may be kidnapped and raped. However, I think we can meet new friends and make friends with them on the Net. Some people consider that we shouldn’t get touch with strangers because we don’t know their true colors. In my opinion, we can learn and have a conversation with people around the world. In addition, I think we don’t have to pay for the telephone charge by meeting people on the Net and we can make contact with people everywhere conveniently. It is for all the above-mentioned reasons that I believe meeting people through online dating sites is beneficial for us.

First, Debra has more education than Lynn. She can teach students correct concepts.  Furthermore, she has more employment experience than Lynn.  For instance, she had been a consultant, author, teaching assistant, swimming teacher, and server before.  I think she learn intensive knowledge and can deal with a variety of difficulties from her experience.  Moreover, she had even published books about English.  It is certain that she has specialized in English for several years.  In addition to English, she can speak other foreign languages fluently as well, such as French.  From these advantages above, I choose Debra to be the best decision.

One of them is McDonalds, and the other is Kentucky Fried Chicken(KFC). First, both of them serve fast food, such as fried chicken, hamburgers, French fries, and so on. Likewise, they also have similar restaurant styles which come from America. Moreover, the prices on the menu of them are similar and usually more expensive than other local restaurants. Similarly, they both provide service of ordering meals over the phone. The two similar restaurants are very common and lure plenty of people in Taiwan.
