You can operate a experiment to show that black is a better collector of solar energy than white. All you need is 2 tin cans, black and white paint, room thermometer. First, Paint the cans-one black, one white. Next, fill the cans with water. Aftet that, put the cans in direct sunlight for three hours. Finally, check the temperature of the water in the cans and compare. You can see that the temperature of the water in the black can is higher than the white one. As a result, this proves that black is a better collector of solar energy than white.
